The bill under discussion in Parliament from 12 February 2014 contains major amendments to the commercial lease regime, which are far from trivial, since they concern the term of the lease, notice to quit, the sanction for irregular clauses, schedules of condition, rent and service charges, and create a pre-emption right in favour of the tenant. Following its adoption by the National Assembly on 13 February 2014, the text has undergone further amendments.
